The COVID-19 pandemic is an extraordinary situation. At WIRED our primary concerns are with our players, team members, developers, and our partners global, including those in retail.
We want to update you today on the planned releases we have over the coming months, and the steps we are taking to ensure the safety and well-being of the WIRED family mentioned above.
Due to several closed offices, including our main HQ, those of our developers and partners closing or moving to remote working, we've had to change the release dates of some of our upcoming titles.
In these uncertain times, we do not want to add any additional workload or stress to those that are affected. We also want to ensure we fully support our partners in retail, who are facing particular difficulties in supply chains.
Deliver Us The Moon will now launch as planned on April 24th DIGITALLY on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the physical launch now taking place in July 2020 to coincide with the Nintendo Switch and Collectors Edition.
Again, this will help to ensure we can work with our partners to ensure the game is able to be distributed to all territories.
We appreciate that for many people, physically getting hold of stock may prove to be difficult, and we hope that by moving some of our release dates where necessary, we aid retailers and alleviate some of the pressure that our partners are feeling, whilst ensuring our teams and developers also have the time they need during these difficult and uncertain times.
It is likely that there will be a delay in the posting of our items from the online store. Until our warehouse is back and fully operational, we're only able to fulfil standard copies of our games, with a delay on our Collector Editions. We'll update you once we're able to fulfil these. We've also changed free shipping, from over £50 to over £20 to help those that wish to purchase. Use promo code 'GetWIRED' at checkout.
We'll continue to communicate any updates and changes here.
